Sometimes~

Sometimes he stays too long,
sometimes he comes not at all.

Sometimes he plays with your heart,
sometimes he listens to its beat.

Sometimes there's laughter,
sometimes there's tears.

Sometimes quality time is spent,
sometimes the quality of time is none.

Sometimes, the mind connects,
sometimes, the mind wanders towards another.

Sometimes he touches the depths of that soul,
sometimes, he searches for his own soul.

Sometimes, the love making is on point,
sometimes he dives in like you're just another f#@k!

Sometimes, you are the most beautiful creature in his life,
sometimes, your looks despise him!

Sometimes, you're paying bills together,
sometimes, you're burning candles across from one another.

Sometimes you pray together,
sometimes, you have to pray for a brotha~

Sometimes your love seems like eternity,
sometimes, your life with him seems like a joke!

Sometimes, he drinks to love you,
sometimes you sober up just to deal with the cruel realty that he doesn't love you!

Sometimes, all this s@#t is not worth your time,
sometimes, you can't stomach life without him~

Sometimes, you just sit, pray and wait,
sometimes your answer was there all along,

BUT sometimes you didn't listen~
